I am writing to tell you good news, and better news. The good news is that I am planning to retire in the next few weeks. The better news is that after an extended search, I have found an excellent doctor to continue your care, Dr. Ellen Sauter, ND.
After 29 years of service, I am feeling the need to rest, relax and rejuvenate, and spend more time with family. At the same time, I want you to continue receiving the caring, personalized treatment you’ve gotten in our clinic. With that in mind, I looked far and wide for quite some time. When I found Dr. Sauter, I knew I had the right doctor for you.
Dr. Sauter was trained, as I was, at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, and has the specialized training that I have in balancing brain chemistry. In addition, she has expertise in women’s health, digestive problems, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy for men and women. I trust her clinical skills and judgment, and know you will be comfortable with her similar approach to care. You are in very competent hands with her.
Dr. Sauter and I are very excited for you to meet her. In the next few weeks, she and I will be working side-by-side, and collaborating our skills and experience for your benefit. If you do not already have an appointment scheduled, we welcome you to come in to meet her and discuss any health concerns you may have. We will waive your insurance copay or discount $20 off any visits you schedule now through June 12th. Dr. Sauter is also offering a complimentary ten minute “greeting consult” for all new and returning patients. We are enclosing her business card with contact information.
The clinic phone number and location in NW Portland will remain the same, with Jessica and Alisan continuing in their roles as office manager and receptionist. Any appointments you have made are still reserved for you. We will continue to bill your insurance for you, and provide you with a fully stocked, on-site medicinary including the same discount for bulk orders.
I will be personally involved in the transfer of your care to Dr. Sauter. We will consult together for you during May and June, and encourage you to take the opportunity to see us both in the next few weeks. We are also bringing in an experienced acupuncturist to continue to provide your acupuncture and Chinese Medicine care. More news about that soon!
It has been such a privilege for me to be your doctor. You have put your trust in me, committing to improving your health under my guidance. We have worked together as a team, and I desire this same teamwork of healing to continue between you and Dr. Sauter.
I feel confident that you are in good hands with her. May good health be yours.
Peggy Rollo ND, LAc
